About The American Fine Art Company

Nicole, the artist behind The American Fine Art Company, began with oil painting at a young age and black & white photography in high school, developing, processing, and coloring her photos by hand. Her photographs were award winning but her love for painting grew exponentially after learning the basics of acrylic painting. She started her art career painting landscapes and abstract acrylics for hotels, restaurants, apartment common spaces, and galleries in Columbus Ohio. She worked as an intern at a gallery in the Short North Arts District while attending The Ohio State University. After graduating, she relocated to her home state of Connecticut and opened a shop where she continued to sell her artwork until she moved to Vermont where she began collaborating with musicians to make artwork for their merchandise. Now, over 15 years since the start of her career, she is back to pursuing her passion of painting acrylics and providing artwork for both commercial projects and individual clients and collectors, drawing inspiration and expertise from the many beautiful places and projects that she has been a part of over the years.
